Polar/Neutral Lipid Separation Kit (Chloroform Free)

Our Polar/Neutral Lipid Separation Kit separates polar from neutral lipids starting from a total organic lipid pool obtained through extraction by the Folch method or our Lipid Extraction Kit. Polar and neutral lipid separation occurs through the addition of a proprietary secondary alcohol and a proprietary secondary organic compound. After phase separation, the top layer containing the neutral lipids is separated from polar lipids in the bottom layer. The layers are dried and the lipidsresuspended for downstream analysis.
