Human neural progenitor cells (neurospheres) are derived from whole fetal brain isolated from a single donor. Human neural progenitor cells highly express Sox 2 and Nestin. These cells readily differentiate into glial or neuronal lineages and are capable of generating vast amounts of specific neural cell types for your experiments. These cells enable researchers to study human development, differentiation, and function of the CNS. In addition, human neural progenitor cells may be used for various types of in vitro, in vivo, or transplantation studies into normal or diseased animal models.Development period: Prenata
