Human Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells

Human bone marrow mononuclear cells are isolated via density gradient centrifugation, from whole bone marrow of a single donor. This heterogeneous cell population allows researchers to isolate various cell types of the immune system. Human bone marrow mononuclear cells consist of multiple types of cells including lymphocytes, monocytes, mesenchymal stem cells and hematopoietic progenitor cells, especially rich in hematopoeitic stem cells. CD34 is a marker of human HSC. Human bone marrow mononuclear cells enable researchers to investigate the immune system, stem cells, and regenerative medicine. In addition, they may be used for developmental studies.
