Doxycycline

Doxycycline is a member of the tetracycline antibiotics group, and is often used to treat bacterial infections. It is also an inhibitor of MMPs (matrix metalloproteinases). Doxycycline is utilized in tetracycline controlled transcriptional activation in order to regulate the expression of transgenes in cell cultures.
