Cyclo(L-Phe-L-Val) is a potent inhibitor of enzymes isocitrate lyase (ICL) (IC50=27 μg/mL). cyclo(L-Phe-L-Val) inhibits the gene transcription of ICL in C. albicans under C2-carbon-utilizing conditions[1].
