Antibacterial agent 156 (Compound 57) is a selective and potent bactericidal against C. difficile and targets cell-wall synthesis. Antibacterial agent 156 exhibits bactericidal activity with the minimal inhibitory concentration of 0.5 μg/mL and 1 μg/mL against MIMIC50 (101 strains) and MIC90 (101 strains)[1].
